Default What happened between Jon and Bobby Bandiera?
Sorry if I've missed the answer to this but Jon binned him off a while back and I wonder why. There have been a few cryptic posts here but no real answers. Anyone know?

Didn't he do an interview where he said Jon had told him to lose some weight or he was out. In the same interview he also said something about Jon and Richie not getting along, I believe. And after that he was gone. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

But similar to Alec - once you spill private details to the press, that's game over...

Bobby's son was very sick around that time and Jon helped by doing a benefit gig with Bobby. Around that time Bobby put on a huge amount of weight and was clearly struggling. All we know is what Bobby has said in public which is that Jon told him to get his shit together and lose weight because he couldn't be on stage with them looking that way, and Bobby told Jon to go screw himself.

I'm not aware of anything beyond that. Probably all Shanks's fault

I'm just listening to Fingerprints someone posted in a different thread which dates after the 2015 tour and Bobby is there.
If the "fight" had really happened before the 2015 why would they have played together a month later?
I think sometimes the fanbase likes to spark such situations to make it more dramatic and interesting

Bobby wasn't supposed to be on that tour due to his divorce and (I think it was around the same time) his son's health? Jon saw these few dates more as an obligation.
It was when they were gearing up for the THINFS cycle that Jon wanted him fully fit for an entire promo cylcle / tour leg when things really got out of hand.

Plus I'm quite sure I had told YOU who the source was and that it wasn't some fanbase rumour
