I think the songs are fun but putting a song like I don't wanna live forever on the album, or Hush really wouldn't have made too much of a difference.

I'm with Walleris on this, there wasn't a huge difference between the eras of Sex Sells and Crush. A lot of telecaster-y sounding song with an acoustic behind it. I really think it got LESS poppy once the band got back together. Hush, Life`s Too Short, Real Life. All super catchy and the direct opposite of Destination Anywhere. There are songs that lean in that direction on that album but for the most part it`s cold and loop filled.
