What is a keeper ?

I was bored, so for the first time in what must be 6 mths, sit down please people , I VISITED BACKSTAGE. Woo Hoo

Could someone please explain why people in their signature put their membership numbers and then write Keeper of Jons soul, Keeper of Jons Heart , and Keeper of his left toe nail????? Ok the last one was a joke.

When they get their membership numbers does it say they are the keeper of something on it ? What does being this keeper actually mean? Are they suppose to pray for Jons soul or whatever esle they are keeping?

This keeper stuff has been on Backstage for years but I thought it was some whim, but its still there and I would like to understand exactly what it is and why it was started. Plus why doesnt anyone keep anything for Richie or other band members.

They did a topic whereby you got to be a keeper of something of Jons. It was first come first serve, but I think I got his swimming pool!!

Shall I grab this opportunity to say that my nickname is definitely NOT Keeper because of that?

I explained it in the Test Forum, but here goes again. Keeper used to be Emily Brontë's dog (the Brontë sisters are my favourite writers ) and I liked the name, then I saw the connection to Bon Jovi through Keep The Faith and went for it
