I have not thought about this before but it's possible indeed. Which only supports the idea that Bon Jovi is pretty much over.
i don't think so. i think the problem is that they are in between stages. they still want to produce music that sells well but to do so they have to keep up with the market, meaning they aren't likely to please all of their fans. in the next few years i think they'll reach the stage that other bands, such as the stones, are at, where they decide to take a back step from the charts and produce some real feel0good music that probably goes back to their roots and most of us like.

just my prediction. i don't know how long this will take though!

I hope you are right. IMO everything they've done during last 3 years has been one big mistake (even though I like some of it). As a band they've stopped developing. I don't know if they can get through this unharmed. As a band, they certainly have personality to get through this. But do they still have what it takes musically?

oh aye, they're still as tight as a virgin's fanny on prom night musically, they just need to find that inspiration again.

How? It's easy to say but difficult to do. It's either there or not.

they did it between 7800 and slippery and again between jersey and faith. it happens. i'd like to see them get back into the studio and jam like the bar band they always said they were.

You know what kinda scares me though? Sometimes it seems to me that Jon's lost interest in Bon Jovi. 4 children, football team, acting - it's just to much to swallow. And the band cannot pull through their problems if he doesn't put his all into the band. And how he can put his all into BJ if he has so much on his mind? In 1985, 1991 it was different. The band was the center of his world.
