Oh good! I haven't listen to it in ages. TEEHEE.

What if this album brings you back from the brink-I mean, back from... not listening to them? Would that please you or displease you?

Displease me, 'cause I want to make fun of Jovi fans.

I think most people expect too much from Bon Jovi.
They been there and done it several times over.
They dont need to make another SW, NJ or TD as if you want that go and listen to them.

I also get the feeling that some of you listen to Bon Jovi way too much. There are 1000s of bands out there that maybe you wont love as much as Jovi but they will still rock you.
Just coz I might not listen to Jovi for 6 months dont make me any lesser a fan than someone who listens 24/7

For example on 31/08/09 The album im looking forward to most this year so far Chutzpah! by the Wildhearts will be released and it will be on heavy rotation (and im seeing them live again on 01/10) so I wont even be thinking of Jovi until November.

I still love Jovi but I dont need to listen and annalyze them all the time. Give them a break. They are still making music today. How many bands starting out now will be around in 25 years, sold over 120m albums & tour regular - a handfull.

Been reading forum for a long time. Think I even posted before, but darn if I can remember name I used. Lots of threads have caught my eye over the last month and finally took time to post.

What keeps me hanging on, been a fan from their start. Rocked 3 babies to sleep on BJ and rocked my grandson to sleep to. We cleaned the house a zillion times to BJ, went on many trips listening to them, my car play's Bon Jovi 3/4's of the time, it likes nothing else.

Took my kids forever to really get into them, think I just burnt them out on it. But It's My Life finally did it. 2 of them had it as their theme song for their basketball team, one had it as their senior song, and one has it tattooed on their forearm. Last tour finally went to a concert with all 3 of them, one of them had been holding out on the fun for to long.

I grew up on rock, but listen to alot of other stuff. Bon Jovi has always been my favorite. I prefer the older stuff, but my kids prefer the newer stuff. I believe this is why they have lasted so long, and the reason they have changed over the years and we have less rock and more pop from them. I love that they came out with newer style, it is after all what got my kids listening to them. Something to share with them, and for that I will hang on to the end.

I agree.

Personally, I keep listening to the pre-crush records. Maybe a post crush song or two. I think we all keep hanging on because we keep listening the good BJ songs and enjoy finding out what they played each night on tour.
I mean, they can make a hundred shitty albums and that wouldn't make me stop listening to the good ones.

i think its because of the actual members of the band, they are so likeable, they love what they do and you know that they really care for their fans! whenever i seen them live, i don't think i have ever been so happy in my entire life despite the many problems i had at that time, i just felt like i was at complete and utter peace standing there listening to jon sing...
they have rescued me at times and have given me something to be excited about when i feel like i dont want to be excited about anything
i hang on to Bon Jovi because i know i have to, in order to feel better after horrible things come my way!

What keeps me hanging on with this band is the music pure and simple. My Top 5 Jovi records (NJ/KTF/SWW/CRUSH/TD in that order) are in my Top 10 albums of all time. Beyond that, there are songs on everyone of the other albums that really get to me, and to me that's the biggest ingredient in a song. I don't care if it's Pop-Rock, Riff-Rock, Hair-Rock or whatever other genre someone puts it into, if a song gets me it gets me. And, even if one day they release a new album that has nothing that gets me, all the other music will still be there.
