Bon Jovi make me happy. You know, the other day I was at a friend's birthday and we were taking a picture. Even though it was a happy occasion, I wasn't in a great mood and wasn't smiling on the photo. So, my friend taking the photo said: "Look at you, why aren't you smiling? Think of Bon Jovi!!!" And I had the biggest smile on. ))
I listen to other stuff, of course, but nothing lasts. Bon Jovi do.

What keeps me hanging on mainly is hope. I know that Jon and Co have the ability to write another unforgetable song or 2, and I just hope that one day, they will, and release it, and it will kick the butt of everything else out there.
Spot on.

The main thing that's keeping them from doing it though I reckon is success. The great jovi songs were written when they were trying to make it or had just made it and were still not used to it (in my humble opinion). Look at Blood on Blood, what a great song..all about the guys Jon hung out with, they made it in their fields and Jon had just made it in his.... What motivation have they got these days??? Why the hell do Bon Jovi need to release a new album? They don't in all honesty. I quite liked most of LH and that was because it was a totally different direction for them so I think it was almost like starting again, it might have been a complete failure so they were a bit on edge? Forced to work harder than usual??

If Richie wrote a solo album when he was getting divorced and smashed every night then I reckon that'll be good, harsh as it sounds.

For my the best Jovi song of the last 10 years or so is Just Older, a song looking backwards so to speak. Looking back to the Blood on Blood times...

The possibility of hearing BOBITA live. That's it.
