I blame backstage type fans, Jon gets the idea all is Rosy in jovifanland from that kind of fan; hence no need to buck his ideas up.

Goose that is so not true. 99.9% of us let him know when we felt he was off key, or the show wasn't quite all that great. At least I do say so when I felt something wasn't right.

Then why is it that at the AXS board all backstagers thought he was in good shape? And you might say it when it wasn't right, we are just able to say that Jon sucked. But you can only think of another sucking Jon, the one between your legs.

Goose, I am surprised at you. What you said is not 100% true and really not fair. You yourself posted there, until you got banned, which BTW I didn't agree with at all, but someone there is trigger happy these days.

I want Jon to be interested in music again. To me and it could be just my opinion but I see someone who is sometimes going through the motions and at certain shows, pretty bored. He just seems more interested in his other activities now, such as the football team. When he talks about the team, its with so much excitment. I wish I could see that again about the music.

As someone else said, I do think that they are only now trying to realise music to please the record company.

That is probably Goose's point about Backstage. He didn't say what the moderators want him to say and he got banned. It is pretty rosy over there and I don't actually agree with the statement that you can critise the band. I have notice that if you do say that the music is not good or the band did better. All we get in reply is "you should be happy that they give us music they owe you nothing", not that exact quote but along those lines, so I don't want any of "Who says that??" I have see it many times.

I assure you that despite being banned 20 times, I'm still very active over on that site ;]

Yup, I can vouch for that.

Oh I will not ask you who said that. I know who said it. I have said it countless times. But, you must put it in the context it was said and the reasons it was said. There are certain posters there who have this aire of entitlement over there. They feel entitled to this, or that. They are entitled to nothing.
My point which I have stated there and here. If you are not happy with the band or the music they put out anymore, then stop buying it. The constant pissing and moaning gets very tiresome and boring to read. Some posters are just never happy with anything. They will find fault in anything Jon does, or anything he doesn't do, if it doesn't fit their particular needs. Pissing and moaning because Jon has other interests besides music. The thing people don't get is, Jon can do whatever the hell Jon wants to do. He doesn't need the approval of the fan community to embark on different endevors. He is STILL putting out music, still touring. What more do people WANT from him? I am dead serious with this question. Some will say they want him to focus all of his attention on the music and make it better. Better then what? Again, if the music is not up to some peoples standards, then maybe they should find a new band to follow.
