You have to understand Donna, there are no other bands that I wish to follow at the moment. I have been a fan of Bon Jovi since I was 12. It is just hard to see a band that had so much enthusiasm in the past lose this over the past few years. There are slim pickings out there these days as far as new music goes, and I don't want to see the quality of Bon Jovi's touring and music decline too. It is hard to move on when you know how it used to be and hope that one day that enthusiasm will return because it was once there and quite strong. Hopefully, in the future they will be able to get it back instead of just going through the motions.

Oh and I totally DO understand what you are saying. I also respect it. You are also not one to show an aire of entitlement. You do not go out there and rip them to shreds nor do you DEMAND things of them.
You also seem to respect Jons involvement with the Soul. I am sick of people whinning and complaining about that too. Yes, people can not like it, but to bash Jon for having outside interests is not right.

I was at the Borgata show and I thought they were in the best form they have been in, in a long time. I have no clue how it came over on the webcast, but I know what I saw live.

Oh, one more thing. Jon seems to be VERY excited about the new album( they all do). So, maybe the enthusiasm is going to come back with that. It appears this album will really rock!

I assure you that despite being banned 20 times, I'm still very active over on that site ;]
If you dont like backstage and talk so much crap about it why do you even go there? I dont get it, obviously you like going there if you keep going back to register with a bunch of different names, sounds quite pathetic to me actually

Mummy ought to take you down a peg, you precosious little brat! Re-interpreting the old stuff is still creative, and you are not going to get improved quality of songs by demanding they write to your time frame. Where's your contribution to music big shot?

What's so creative about just trying to make a song like another so it might be another hitsingle?

Ah yeah and since you like to call names I'll just use some for you: You unholy tub of fusty rodent droppings.

Anyone who just comes to a messageboard to cause trouble is much more pathetic than someone who actually has an opinion.

It isn't creative, it's stupid. They thought they could milk out a little bit more out of those songs and failed miserably. At least a regular greatest hits album would've been honest, TLFR was a sad attempt at cashing in.

Disagreed....I see it as you could have had a straight best-of compiliation or you could have had something with a different twist on the familiar..which is what they went for. I don't see it as dishonest..I see it as incentive to not have to buy something you already have. With Crossroads it was two new songs...with TLFR it was an album full. So you didn't like the versions...it doesn't change the overall idea. I personally get quickly bored with the album..but I have to admit it is at least different takes. My main problem with the album is the shortcuts taken and the lack of collaborative band effort...it doesn't give the album much soul. I love the idea...not so crazy about the execution.
