Default What Jovi song would you play at your wedding?

Hey..last night I found myself in a battle of trying to find a BJ song or two that I would want to be played on my wedding day for a special someone..I would guess it would have to be something slow, perhaps an anthem which everyone would know-or perhaps it could just be a song off an album..that way it would be a bit more personal. I was just wondering what you lot would demand to be played at your weddings...or better still for those who are married..did you have something played. If so, what song?
just an interesting thought. love to hear your opinions.
JJ

"Wedding Day"
No, just kidding. How about "Always".

You're bit too young to think about your wedding day, aren't you?
But it's good to be prepared

I posted this question a while back. I'd probaly choose something like Always, Thank You For Loving Me or All About Lovin' You.

Always ? Always is about a love that left you, not exactly a good song to play at your wedding huh ? And Diamond Ring is a sad song about a wedding too, though I don't know what that song exactly is about.

My niece and her husband played TYFLM at their wedding, though I think my choice wouldn't be something from Bon Jovi. Something from Guns I think...Back Of Bitch, I Used To Love Her, You Could Be Mine...:P

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Agree about Always, but not for Diamond Ring, why do you say it's a sad song ? I never seen it like this ..... Imagine the bit of guitar when they have to say "Yes"

I'd have something like Its My Life or Prayer, possibly even Bounce.

Somehow I knew a bunch of people were going to be saying ALWAYS.

It just goes to show how many people actually pay attention to what Bon Jovi songs mean or what they are about which is why they think "Bon Jovi has always been about fun and partying." They never really paid attention and just kept lookin at Jon who has a tendency to smile at inappropriate times while performing.

"I'd Like to jump, but I'm afraid to hit the ground (Jon flashes his trademark toothy grin, girls go apeshit, fans talkst among themselves how this is such a great fun song)

In all the commercialism of Bon Jovi..there is a real soul there and it requires you pay attention. It's easy to think of Always as a good song for your wedding when all you think of is the chorus....but you are taking the chorus way out of context to make it fit as a wedding song. This is a song you play in your car after leaving your lawyers office after signing the final divorce papers.
