I think that a live album and DVD around Christmas will be released and that we are going to see another studio album next year. 2007 there will be no touring, but 2008 they will tour again. I just hope that the new album will be OK and not a quick attempt to ocash in on the success of HAND.

like someone said, instead of cashing in on the success of HAND, and releasing a rushed "live my life..dadada" album, i think they should take a break, work on solo projects, spend time apart and then regroup again. that way, they have fresh ideas to bring to the table.. that can do wonders like its done in the past..

I'd hope they take a fair amount of time off. Persue those solo careers - let them continue with solo material anything to get them out of Bon Jovi land for a while. Hopefully, they'll regroup being older and wiser realising that they don't need to write pop-orientated music to gain recognition.

I think that while they are on a roll they may continue bringing out the albums and touring etc. I think thye may feel if they break now that a) they might not have the following when they come back b) that they won't want to re-group in several years time when the oldest of them will be 50+, who knows though, they seem to be having a great time doing what they are doing right now(hull the exception) and i dont think they will stop for a break just yet.

Sometimes I wonder if the LACK of solo CDs has to do with being older and wiser and not feeling the need to "prove themselves" as individuals. Just a random thought.

We've now had the live album, the rarities album, the greatest hits and the acoustic album. Can a covers album be more than a couple of years away?

What would you like to hear on that?!

If we got a major new project, though, I wouldn't be surprised of a move in the country direction. The evidence certainly seems to be that they choose a "feel" for each album and selct the songs accordingly - just saying this from a) the coherence of all their albums since Keep the Faith; b) the amount of quality material we heard on the box sets that had been discarded presumuably for not having the right fit; c) the fact that the band is very good at following and exploiting fashions.

The last point was meant to highlight JBJ's marketing skills rather than as a criticism. I don't believe that writing for a genre shows any less talent than a more care-free approach to songwriting.

But please, god, no more self-belief songs!

Well all I'm gona say is I'd rather have another It's My Life than another Who Says. Who Says You Can't Go Home was alright, decent lyrics but hardly a song that leaps out at me and I definately don't want another song like that.

OK, I'm kinda bored with the whole "livin'-your-life" lead singles but I think doing more Who Says singles would be the nail in the coffin for them.

Just my opinion.

Except that Who Says did better than HAND, Everyday, Misunderstood, Thank You For Loving Me....and It's My Life. Hardly a nail in the coffin.
