On the shows from the One Wild Night tour where he did Stranger in this town the crowd never seemed into it.
That's a shame, I felt bad for the guy. Seeing a solo show in a smaller theater like setting would be awesome, I'd love to see him play Father Time and for the encore have the spotlight on him with the rest of the stage dark and him with his accoustic singin/playing The Answer. I'd love to see that one day.

I love Richie's solo material but always feel I'll Be There For You works well. If I had to opt for one of his own it would most probably be Father Time.

He loves IBTFY as a song, you can tell.

Harlem Rain was a massive disappointment for me. Stranger is an unbeleivable song, but it doesn't work in a stadium.

Hard Times Come easy, Rosie or Ballad of Youth would work best. Personally I'd want Undiscovered Soul just for the uplifting chorus.

His own song/s : Rosie, Ballad of Youth or Undiscovered Soul [brilliant live]
RS covering a song: With a little help from my friends..and I'd love to hear RS do a version of Layla.

The best suggestion i've ever heard. That would be amazing. You can just imagine hearing the growl in his voice in 'you got me on my knees'.

He would sound absolutely perfect singing 'Back in the USSR' IMO.

That would be awesome.

I'm happy hearing him do IBTFY because he absolutely kicks ass with it, any of his solo stuff probably wouldn't go to well at a stadium gig because a large chunk of the crowd won't have heard his albums.

Actually, one song I'd like to hear him do would be Addicted To Love...

And it was the unplugged version. If he did the origional version...that would kick azz.

Wouldn't mind hearin him do Travelin' Band either. That snippet on AAA sounded pretty good.
