Just wondering if anyone knows what film's this from and if you know where I can get it Cheers

I heard it in the movie "Ford Fairlane - The Rock'n'Roll Detective" (funny movie btw)

But in the movie you only hear the intro of the song, not Richie singing it. I wondered when I watched the movie why they re-recorded this song with Richie instead of taking the original when they only use the intro.

But anyway, Richie did a great job with this song.

Yeah I think Jimi Hendrix did the original and Richie covered that.

I always thought it was kinda strange how it ended up on Stranger, being a cover song and all. Wasn't it released on a couple of singles as well?
