Same here! I think he would absolutely slay it!
As for other songs I'd like to hear:
"Shot Through the Heart" - requires basically no range at all
"Welcome to Wherever You Are" - my all-time favorite BJ song
"Bells of Freedom" - another one of my favorites. Worked well acoustic in 2011.
"Bounce" - great as a show opener, would also work as an encore opener
"Silent Night" - I know there's not a chance in hell of them playing this, but i'd still love to hear it live
"Never Say Goodbye" - electric all the way through
"In These Arms" - David on lead vocals for the whole song - would give Jon a much needed break in the middle of the show.
"Garageland" - One of the best of the box set
"Satellite" - my favorite from the box set, not a chance in hell of being played but still worth a mention
"Happy Now"
"(It's Hard) Letting You Go" - one of the easiest TD songs vocally
"Something to Believe in" - if Jon can pull of BOR as well as he did in Sao Paulo, he could probably still sound OKish on this one
"Mystery Train" - highly underrated Crush song
"Miss Fourth of July" - easy to sing, good for an acoustic set
"Born Again Tomorrow" - exactly why the flying f*** has this song not been played since that promo show in Florida!?!? It's only the best song on the main tracklist of THINFS!
"I Will Drive You Home" - imagine those harmonies at the end sung by all the members of the band...
"Touch of Grey" - this song should've been on the main tracklist for THINFS
"All Hail the King" - the perfect new rarity for European audiences
"Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning"
"I'm Your Man"
"Who Would You Die For"
"Fingerprints"
"We All Fall Down" - faster tempo than the studio track
And to really change it up, how about letting Phil X sing a Drills song!
