They have not "ruined" them. The songs are there just as they always were on all the other albums- have no worries. This album will need to be listened to with an open mind- you may love it, you may hate it, but I think it may take some fans some time to get past what did they do to my song. I think we almost have to think of them as totally new to appreciate musically what they have become. But if after some time you still don't like it, it's not like the next tour they will change the way all of the songs are sung. The songs in their original state will live on and on no matter what other incarnations may exist. And some of those incarnations may also take on a life of their own- I keep saying Layla but that is a good example of a song done twice that was a hit both times.

totally agree!!! Its just doing the songs different. The originals still exist folks on their albums.

I agree with crash .. I dont think they are saying that having differing opinons is bad.. they are saying its already predicatable what will happen here.

I agree. I can't stand when an artist makes the exact same song over and over only with different lyrics. That's one thing you can't say about Bon Jovi. Their songs all have a sound and life of their own. I admire the bands talents and that makes me eager to see what new sounds and concepts they can come up with.
