i feel sorry for the people who discoverd Jovi at the Crush album
poo-ey what a stinker (except about 4 songs)

mine was 7800f but not when it came out - just before SSW came out.
the 1st Jovi song I heard was Dead or Alive - told my cousin about Jovi and he said he had the 1st 2 albums if i wanted to borrow them.
so i did and i heard 7800f first for some reason.

i then went and bought with my hard earned pocket money when I was 14 (3 years after SWW was released) the 1st 3 albums on CD as i had them all on Cassette.

nothing beats New Jersey though !

Fahrenheit, bought it as a cassette in January 1986. I can remember it deteriorating very quickly!

That summer I got some of the songs from the self-titled taped for myself, and later that year, in September, I was able to get a taped copy of Slippery, as well. (There were at least two subsequent copies made as I wore the tapes out, lol) I actually never owned a legal copy of SWW until 2002 when my interest in BJ suddenly revived, and I got the entire back catalogue on CDs.

I did buy New Jersey legitimately, though, on vinyl, one day after it was released

By the time KTF came out, I had kinda moved on to different passions and obsessions, so never got that one back in the day.

SWW was my first, back in 87. I still own that very first BJ vinyl I ever bought. There´s not a scratch on it.
