do't know the some songs are really copies of old songs like all about loving you and everyday. but the album is ok compared to crush.

there aren't as great solos as on the older cds but its not that bad like hook me up or bounce great guitar. and I like the keys on the cd very much

Simple songs that any five year old could've written.

everyone has his own taste thats ok. I became fan with Ktf and I want rock music not the pop crap on crush. no tico at all just lot`s of loops thats awful! bounce is rock again much better. even some songs on crush are really well written but so many loops no guitar no drums that makes them crap

I agree that Crush was better than Bounce. There was just a lot of variation on Crush - no 2 songs sound the same. Bounce on the otherhand.................................

Just do this one thing (if you haven't noticed it already)

Play track 3 ('The Distance') intro and then skip immediately to track 9.............................. sounds too similar to me especially for 2 songs on the same album!

I must say that Undivided, Hook Me Up and Bounce Rock. Now we're gonna argue the definition of the word Rock, but for the last time this band is not going to release Slippery When Wet again so fans that are looking for that need to stop, i loved BOUNCE and it's one of the few Jovi CD's i can listen to straight without skipping a song, the others being TheseDays and TLFR. I thought Bounce was well done, the band hasnt used LONG guitar solo's in years and Jon said it himself "Richie sometimes cant display his talent within the context of this band" done.

richie bought a new guitar and decided that dropped tunings and big riffs were more important than solos. jon decided to write a song based on one he sang in ally mcbeal.

other than that it isn't too bad. near the bottom of my bon jovi collection but still very much listenable.

Too many ballads. Rock songs are good, IMO. Simply too many ballads.

At least Bounce had some kind of continuity thematically. Unlike Crush where they were throwing themselves from one theme to another without any reasons. Ballads screw everything up.

But I don't believe all I wrote before is the reason Bounce failed commercially. The reason here is they weren't able to pick good singles.

u have any clues?
just cos thee werent huge solos dont mean he wasnt used, he is all over the album.

i agree about the songs should have been more rockers...

i think lyrically alot of it is veyr good, esp joey and RSOW and i think some of it is creative.

more use of dave then a long long time...his keys are everywhere and then some.

its a decent album, i dunno why ppl compare it to crush tho. different sound and anyway crush is a brilliant album where bounce just aint sadly.
