Always thought that line was funny, as were the whole song's lyrics.

It's a song about a guy who is delirious who thinks he has contacts with higher powers and celebrities including a woman who in that time period was deemed sought after by men. Using Heather makes the line a bit funnier. The idea that he did it because Richie is crazy just...come on. Really?

It's not a bad song but it doesn't belong on Slippery... Even Social Disease is more fitting... It's a good stand alone bside side, exactly what it is...

I don't think so... it's much darker than the rest of the album and the chorus is a little flat...

People say the same about the NJ demos but New Jersey is perfect the way it is...

I could see Edge being the 11th track but not Borderline as a 12...

I'd love to get better quality takes of Deep Cuts The Knife, Too Much Too Soon, Etc... but Borderline fits better with these...
