What will they think of next?

I looked all over the site for a reference to it being a charity auction but I don't think it is. If it was for a good cause, you couldn't really bash them for it but, since it isn't, it's obviously just another poor money-making gimmick.

All it takes is one person....

Couldn't see a mention of the proceeds going to charity. If that was the case I'd happily bid for it if I had the money.
Looking at it, it looks like something my neighbours daughter used to scribble in crayon when she was two.

why cant they be more creative and spend a bit more time/money on what they want people to buy/ bid for?

maybe a nice pic of the band or a cool collage of the tour pics. not some shit like that......

im sure back in the day jon wouldnt of payed whatever it is now for a quiggly line drawing of springsteens born to run....... there so much out of touch with the fans its gettin ridiculous!!!!!!

Its not a bad idea, however the price is ridiculous. I'm sure even with my basic skills I could do something similar using soundforge etc?! I do like the idea behind it, but come on.. hundreds of dollars? Who says its even Prayer? Could be Tico on the bog for all we know..

People are probably paying for the signatures. They are "hand written"... And once you get one of the 10 produced, you can probably get your money back by selling that on eBay.
