I have no idea what concerts you have attended, but in the shows I have seen this year(just 2) Richie's part was definitely one of the highlights. Along with Dry County(again because of Richie) and These Days(this I credit Jon for).

What would one do at a David Bryan concert I wonder? Hmm...

I have to agree with you here.

The version of IBTFY that Richie sang in Atlantic City last Feb - right after his divorce notice - was one of the most emotionally intense that I have ever seen. People were in tears all around me - they sure as hell weren't leaving to get a beer.

And if you have seen any of the footage from Giants Night 3 - Richies solo in IBTFY was blistering, and very intense. Once again - maybe because I was on the floor - but I didn't see anybody's attention wandering or feel a lull in the concert. When it was over all you could say was - wow.

Kathleen

Richie did SITT at the Continental Arena...(my mate and I had FC tix) but my family had GA toward the back..my kids told me people used it as a beer break!..I guess that was because it wasn't a BJ song and folk didn't know it!...There were tears in the FC seating though!

Kathleen ...I had tears just reading about Richie's performance in Atlantic City.

I would love to go see Richie solo. I'd also go see Dave and Jon solo in a second. But like many others when the band performs together it's just much more magical than seeing ANY of the guys alone..

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

I was just thinking there wouldn't be much of a difference from listening to his CD(s).
