Well, why isn't anyone mentioning All About Loving you? I absolutely adore that song. Jon's high note before the solo is amazing, imo

Classic ballad would be Always...otherwise in the modern Jovi era I really dig I Will Drive You Home and Labor Of Love. I also adore Superman Tonight but not sure I consider it a ballad..it kind of is, and kind of isn't.

This.

I finally heard Jon's voice in there, too. Took me a while. But to me the song wouldn't be the same without the a capella ending - robotic or not. I love the way the music drops away bit by bit until it's just the heartbeat of the drum and the voices; then the drum stops leaving just the voices; and then the voices stop and it just kinda hangs in the air ... like he's literally just standing there, waiting.

I'll go with I Will Drive You Home too. I adore that song.

Love's the Only Rule for me - Jon was at the top of his songwriting game when he wrote that. It's the last one that really wowed me live. I just liked it on the album - but live it was stunning.

And I haven't seen a show this tour yet - my first is April 1 so maybe one of the new songs will wow me.

The last great ballad Bon Jovi did was This Ain't A Love Song.

After that they wrote so many awfully good songs like: Stay, Thank You, Mystery Train, All About Loving You, Nothing, These Open Arms (HAND), Superman, I'll Drive You Home but none of them had the same impact as This Ain't A Love Song.

If you count the solo albums, there's It's Just Me, Staring At Your Window, In It For Love and Seven Years Gone.
