Me either. These days a doctor would have him complete vocal rest. I can't stand listening to shows from that time period.

Raw? You love this? Out of tune screaming is enjoyable?

Ah I get it. Now I see what's wrong with you.

It's raw and full of power which is the complete opposite of what we have today. That is a real rock & roll star up there and you could totally feel Jon's struggle and passion through that performance.... You are just too dumb and ignorant to realize that. This isn't Glee, it's what real rock & roll once was. Axl Rose made a career of screaming out of tune.

So yes, Jon's voice was shot but it's "nothing a shot can't cure"

This!

2013 vocals not only sound bad, but when you look at Jon's face it looks that he's in a lot of pain when he sings ().

I'll take any of those 2003, 2005, 2006 performances over 2008 onwards for even though they may be rough in spots, at least it still sounds like Jon all through his voice, without that quacky nasally, barely understandable thing he's got going now.

If there's anything Jon didn't have anymore halfway through the Slippery tour, it's a voice full of power. He had no range at all anymore, and all he did was screech in the hope of hitting the right note. His voice was shot, hence not having any power anymore. Would he have it; he'd be able to sing.

Axl Rose made a career out of screaming in tune, that's what he build his career on, the constant screaming exactly in tune. Ever since his return in 2002 he's known for being out of tune, hence many GnR fans saying pretty much the same thing Bon Jovi fans are saying about Jon; the guy can no longer sing.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Whatever. I thought more of you, but you seem to have sand in your pussy.

Jon sounds much better in that 1987 clip than he does now. And he's nowadays much more out of tune than he was then.

It's like Steven Tyler and Aerosmiths first album where he sounds awful. Some like it, most hate it. I think he sounds awful on that, but I love what he did afterwards. If you prefer Tony Bennet over a rock vocalist, fine, but I don't. Jon used to be Steven Tyler, now he's at best a Willie Nelson.
