I agree..it would have made the versions much more palatable. I think people felt that the fact an actual studio album was made gave the versions some kind of permanence instead of just enjoying the one-off takes. It also didn't help that they used a drum machine on the album. The DVD is everything they should have done on the album ...at least with the route they took.

I played that cd the other day!!
i fall asleep ussually sometime through Bed of Roses.
I put it in for when I was going to bed as it is a kind of relaxing album.

I have that problem too. Once I played it when i was studying for a Chemistry exam. One minute I was trying to remember the electron arangement of Americanium and the next thing I knew I was waking up with a copy of the Periodic Table stuck to my nose and a bad headache
