Default What's the atmosphere for the new album like compared to others.

I haven't really been monitoring other albums before their releases. I like the pre-release reports and speculation conversations of this album though. How does the atmosphere of The Circles release compare with other albums they've released?

Well as of this moment the atmosphere seems to be a little quieter than past releases but hey, maybe next week there will be an abundance of new information regarding "The Circle".

Anticipation is the key.

No I'm not. Ask any die hard that was here during the Bounce era. Most of them said that if the next album would be as disappointing they'd stop caring and would just enjoy the tours. And the only times I speak to them is when Bon Jovi are touring. They don't care about all the other stuff anymore.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

So not even a better album would change your mind?

Personally, I'm not as syked about The Circle as I was leading up to the release of Have A Nice Day, although I am keen as to what it's gonna be like. This feeling I think is mutual amongst most of us here.

After living through the Bounce era, most of us were hoping after two commercially accessable albums (Crush/Bounce), they would flesh out alot more with Have A Nice Day and really return to an artistic approach (but obviously not the exact same sound) of the earlier albums. They did a little IMO, but sadly, not much. They used far less effects, slightly more "actual" guitar work/solos and a little more honest genuine lyrics. Nonetheless, HAND was basically in the same vein and it's two predecessors. I thought HAND was a decent album, but didn't quite quench my own thirst, as my expectations, like many others here, were quite high.

That's basically why the anticipation isn't quite as high for The Circle as (for example) Have A Nice Day.

That's what I think anyway.

I just wish they deliver what they promise before each record. I'd fall asleep if they come on the same track as in recent years. Live is a highlight but its just 50% (at least for me)
