What's the atmosphere for the new album like compared to others.

I was only here for LH. It's more positive then that was, due to the country elements.

But you should not panic. It's not any different then for die hard fans of e.g. Metallica. They also keep on moaning on how everything after the black album wasn't good. Die hard guns'n'roses fans didn't go further then appetite for destruction, die hard stones fans don't even know the names of the albums after the 70's etc ...

I, on the other hand, will never compare Lost Highway to New Jersey, but i've listened probably 100 times to LH last year and maybe once to New Jersey. Must be that LH was a pretty great album... but that's only if you can follow Bon Jovi's mindset. It's just more fun to make other music today then 20 years ago.

It's got nothing to do with living in the past. It's also got nothing to do with comparing. I can compare albums from McCartney from recent times to the ones he recorded in his early career. Both are good, even though both are very different to eachother.

Just Older, One Wild Night and Novocaine (for example) prove Bon Jovi can actually write a new rocker that doesn't sound like anything that was released in the nineties. Sadly, most of the other stuff proves they can't.

You also don't need to follow someone's mindset in order to find something great. I don't like Appetite For Destruction because I was a heroin junkie. Because I wasn't. eh?

Surely, with new generations coming up who have never experienced this it will be new to them but for me it's the same old. It's sad, but that's just the way many die hards feel.

Like Kathleen says, a new album that would actually live up to what they promised would be fantastic, but there's nothing that leads me to believe that it's actually going to be that way.

Get a life dude. You're working on my nerves. If you dislike Jovi so much for anything they did after 00 go find yourself another band. What's the point of waisting your time here. Bon Jovi won't return to '86 or '92, simply cause it's 2010.

You are the kind annoying fan that is following jovi on every live show throughout a tour, but who spends his time the hours before the show moaning about how you don't like their new stuff.

I think it's a lack of respect to your favourite band spaw your negative bullsh*t on this board, but to be at their shows and probably kissing jon's feet if you could.

Your just an annoying pain in the ... (you know what)

TD, by so many considered as one of their masterpieces failed completely in the charts.
Crush on the other hand did really well in the charts, but it seems the die hards don't like that album? So, what shall it be? Quality or Charts?

These Days was a bigger success than Crush was. It's only that because it tanked in the US that people have started to think that it wasn't a success. Just a small example.

These Days stayed in the UK album chart for 50 weeks, peaked at number 1, stayed there for 4 weeks and had an average chart position of 31.
Crush stayed in the UK album chart for 31 weeks, peaked at number 1, stayed there for 1 week and had an average chart position of number 38.

Now you tell me what album was the bigger success?
