I don't really consider Right side of wrong as a a ballad, but well we gotta admit that it's a slow song, almost too slow that it could be considered as a ballad(though it's not a love song), I want to consider it as a kind of
epic song, not as epic as dry county, but really, I just really really really love the bridge part, i can just feel the climax(specially with that st christpher).
Anyway, for the sake or argument, let's just say that there are only 3 ballads then, you had me from hello, open all night, all about loving you, then:
best: all about loving you
worst: you had me from hello
BTW, do u notice that the chord on all about loving you is similar to never say goodbye, in fact i can sing along all about loving you using never say goodbye lyrics, especially on the reff, excluding the "holding on we gotta try..." part.
BEST = You Had Me From Hello (absolutely love this song)
WORST = Open All Night (I like this one, but I've got to vote for one, and this is the weakest!!)
Well, best ballad is Right side of wrong... At this moment I'm working on a story about it... I like the storytelling about two boys, one with four kinds and one on the way who has to feed four mouths at home.
The worst ballad is All about loving you. You had me from hello and open all night are so-so, I like the chorus.
