What's the your favorite pre-2000 ballad? Why?

While "This Ain't A Love Song" was a top 20 hit in the US, it should have been a much bigger hit IMHO, dare I say #1.

It is so unlike their other ballads, very soulful, and the vocals, harmonies and guitars on it are tremendous (and it was the lead single from their most underappreciated album in the States since Slippery).

Still in my top 5 all-time favorite Bon Jovi songs.
