Thank you for loving me & all about loving you. For a period I felt like the hero in these songs.

This one was easier than the other poll. I picked Memory easily over the other ballads. I do like Thick as Thieves and Thank You for Loving Me but the others are just blah.

I loved Memory when I first heard it but I guess it just didn't last. I like it but that's about it these days. I have to go with TYFLM as corny as it is. Mostly because I think it still owes something to the pre-2000 ballads.

Someone mentioned Bells of Freedom - it's a good song but a direct ripoff (and I mean beat for beat and chord for chord) of This Ain't a Love Song. And the later is the better of the two songs.

Open all Night is not an acoustic piece at all, and had it been there I would have been the 1 person to vote for it , but out of these, Thank You gets my vote, it's the type of sentiment where I wish I could say to someone someday....

Yup, this. If the guitar solo was a bridge longer, it would be one of the greatest songs.

Unlike the pre-2000 poll, this one was hard to choose a favourite as honestly none of them hold any special memories for me, therefore I voted for Thick as Thieves which I currently like a lot.

Yep ^^, well, I played it, now Im testing other stuff like Tera :P

Back on topic, I've finally chosen Thick As Thieves being Make a Memory a close second. I dont like Thank You For Loving Me at all, there's something that I just hate in that song. It will be nice to hear it live anyway

Thank You For Lovin Me is the last great BJ ballad.
Everything after that is weak sauce. Some are even downright horrid like Make A Memory.
