There is definitely a different Jon before and after the NJ burnout tour but still a happy Jon. He went from a real laid back kid to more of a money man, however still cool and fun. When he says that his innocence was stripped and he had to grow up, that's what I see. He continued to mature throughout the 90's but remained cool and fun.

I would say somewhere between Bounce and HAND was when the real serious politician business man starting showing up.

I was watching old interviews with him and when the annoying questions were asked, one being his hair for example, he was so cool the way he addressed them. He just went with the flow and laughed them off. You ask him those same question today, he would have a fit. Like a diva bitch.
I feel like Richie went a little too "hollywood rocker" in 2000 or soon after. Picture Stranger in this town era Richie with fashion line. It became all about stats and impressing people with facts and way safe songs.
