Default When was the last time you were excited for a Bon Jovi album?

Self explanatory really. The last album I was totally pumped for was Have a Nice Day. The 9 months between hearing the short live performance of the title track at AMA 2004 and the album being released seems to last an age for me. It was quite unbearable! From Lost Highway onward, I've been very meh about upcoming albums. what About Now I barely felt anything for leading up to its release.

So when was the last time you lot got genuinely excited for the next Bon Jovi album?

I'm still excited for every album! Being older in combination with the internet snippets / leaks / etc takes some of the thrill out of it but I go into each album with excitement thinking "this is next big one"

Then after disappointment, I'm ready for the next one.

Always excited. And I really, truly hope that one day I feel that excitement again and this is not the end of Bon Jovi.

I was super pumped for What About Now until they streamed Because We Can on the website, after which I was like "Whaaaaaat was that?" The album turned out a lot better than I thought it would after hearing BWC.

The Circle. I absolutely loved those snippets we got a few weeks prior to the album's release and was really hyper-excited since, at that point, I still believed in getting the "big anthemic stadium rock record". Needless to say that we didn't get it (but I still liked it).
The last single I was really excited about was HAND. Wasn't a fan in the way that I followed the band on forums back then and heard it on the radio out of the blue. Was a fantastic moment!

Yep, still every album. Snippets, rumoured track names, actual track names, you name it I lap it up. I still like all the albums to various degrees so it will always be exciting to me to get some new material.

I'm excited for every new album. Some of them live up to expectations and some of them don't. I don't think I'll ever be AS excited as I was for older albums because I'm just older and the newest Bon Jovi album is no longer my focus. Nothing will ever top how excited I was for Blaze of Glory or Keep the Faith.

Nothing can ever top my excitement leading up to the release of TD with all the shows I was going to see and having been a fan since -92. Also that previous year with Crossroad and great songs such as Saturday Night and Always I was on a constant BJ high. The last album however I felt any excitement over was probably HAND, which could have been a much better album than it actually was.
