It was just a huge vanity project for JBJ. He's not interesting enough though. It looked nice, that's about it.

Why didn't they just do a balls out no holds barred tour documentary, with frank interviews and raw footage. y'know something interesting

I really enjoyed it.

I got it along with the circle cd (dunno if they did this in Europe, I got mine in Dubai) I might have been a bit disappointed if I'd paid for a dvd of it on its own.

I bought the Circle CD+DVD version. The DVD version includes the documentary.
It's all about Jon, even in the interview with David you hear him say he is just a slave of Jon. Not with those words but still !
Jon is a businessman who also sings in a rockband instead of being a singer of a rockband who also runs a business, that's whats ruining Bon Jovi sometimes, it's a brand.
And his whining is pathetic, he is home more when my father is, he is whining about all his responsibilities and how important he is, yet Tico goes golfing, Richie goes sailing and Jon, he is just a singer, in a long haired rock and roll band

I salute you,
TS

I think a lot of that stuff with Tico, Dave and Richie was intentional Wouter.

Hey look at these guys out having a blast and enjoying the fruits of their labour when poor Jon is stuck in a hotel room (albeit a nice one) glued to the phone making the cogs of the machine turn.

Whether this was Jon's or the film makers idea of course is open to debate.
