Bring Alec back! That is the right thing to do. It's not like BJ songs are getting harder to play - if anything they are much simpler, Alec could do them in his sleep.

I don't play bass, but I'm pretty damn sure Hugh is way above "average" :/

And about his lifeless movements. Pffft. We already have Jon skipping around the stage and Richie pulling silly faces, we don't need Hugh to add to that.

Frankly, I don't give a **** if Hugh sits on a stool in the same position for the whole gig, he's a good bassist and he's been with the band since 1994. He's played on, I believe, all but one of their records. Why shouldn't he be recognised as a band member? Why is it important if he's a rock star anyway? John Entwistle stood completely still and he's the best bass player ever to approach rock music.

Alec's a ****ing idiot and I don't see how having him in the band would add anything more than they already have.

He wasn't an original member.

He doesn't write songs.

He's not as good as Billy Sheehan or John Entwistle.

No one cares about Hugh. How many magazines praised him?

If it's a prerequisite to be as gifted technically as those musicians to be in a band, there wouldn't be many bands would there?!

The fans care about Hugh and most can recognise the important role he plays in the band. Plus, who gives a sh*t about magazine reviews anyway?

It's really funny you guys want Hugh as an official member when he was the first one who didn't want, not Jon. Hugh is VERY happy with the money.
He can walk in the street and there will not be people stalking him.

Alec will come back someday. If Bon Jovi is inducted in the HOF, they will include Alec (Hugh? Nope.)

Actually, IF they're ever put in, precedent shows that both Hugh and Alec will end up being put in, I'd think.
