How the hell did alive not make Bounce?

there are stronger bounce b-sides than alive, namely postcards from the wasteland and we can dance. i'm not so keen on another reason to believe.

i think bounce, much like crush, gets a bad press. there are some real good tracks on this record. it's by no means incredible but a good album nonetheless. and yes, i'm british and i quite like misunderstood - not so much all about lovin' you.

I don't mind Joey even if it is a ripoff of Levon (and I dig the keys), and I like Misunderstood (prefer the single edit to the album version though)...I just don't think it fits the album.

Misunderstood is actually one of the few songs in Bounce that I think is pretty decent. But the IIIIIIIIIIIIII part in the beginning of the chorus is gay, it's like they can't think of a better thing to say for the lyrics.

I love the into to 'Alive.'

The rest of the song is OK, chorus is catchy enough like.

I like the intro and verses but I find the chorus to 'Alive' to be cringeworthy.

Bounce does have some good songs and I am also one of the ones who likes 'Misunderstood'. There are very few songs on it that I hate but many that I am indifferent too, which is where the problem with the album is for me - too many mediocre tracks.

I like the title track, 'Hook Me Up' and 'Undivided' but the rest I could do without. I'm not too fond of 'Everyday' either.

As far as Bounce the album goes, I actually dont mind it with the exception of You Had Me From Hello and Open All Night. The rest of the album aint great but I enjoy it.

Undivided is by far the best song and is one of my Jovi favourites. Bounce comes in second.

The Distance and Love Me Back to Life are pretty good. And I for one like Joey. Hook Me Up couldve been a lot better but I enjoy the heaviness of the song. Everyday aint too bad but it's miles behind It's My Life and Have a Nice Day.

AALY, Right Side of Wrong and Misunderstood are weakish, but listenable.

I am not British and I like Misunderstood. Not much more to say.

i must say alive has a neat solo.

It's decent and is better than some of the songs on the album. I get pissed off with some of the album choices in the last decade. You could make a better album than any they've released out of the b-sides from them. Alive is ok, but I prefer Standing.

I like it actually, but the best song of the b-sides for Bounce is clearly "Another Reason To Believe". Fantastic song.
