I'll stay up tonight!!! The encore will be at 10.40 ET in US so I think it's 3.40 in UK and 4.40 in Europe.

No, I can find fault with Bon Jovi when I don't like something they do.
I just opt not to spend my time complaining about it as my #1 form of entertainment.
However, if you'd taken any time to deal with reading comprehension, you'd have noted in my post that I did say I could understand people who opted not to watch due to the hour and the fact that it might not be the overriding concern in their life (and I can appreciate that.)
However, using the excuse that it's a complete waste of time because you don't like the online poll as a reason not to watch any of an encore, I think, is poor logic. You watch the encore because you like the band and you're interested in seeing a show you can't attend because the band makes it available online. They could do that without the online poll - would that make you happy? Then you wouldn't have the online poll issue to complain about.
Watch it or don't watch it - that's up to each of us.
But to refuse a free encore broadcast based solely on the fact that you don't like the encore poll defeats the purpose that you could watch a performance of anything..
That gift horse is staring right at us.

Id like to stay up cos i havnt seen a live broadcast yet, but I doubt il get in work on time if i do. Waiting for one to be on at the weekend!

perhaps some people watch it purely to add to their trade lists so they can sell it on at some point?

yes because then i wouldn't have to read in lots of promo activities how loyal to the fans the band are and how they genuinely listen to the fans, "even taking requests online in the form of polls"

But the point remains: they're making the encore available.
It's better than nothing but not to some who demand and believe their deserve everything and a beer.
The fact remains: they put a poll up. Vote or don't vote.
Watch or don't watch. You'll only be able to appreciate the faults you perceive anyway. It's all in your nature.
But seeing this site as the perptually "glass is only half full" variety, that would be the forest impossible to be seen through the trees.
And I have a few suggestions regarding that carrot!

it's not perptually like that at all, it's perpetually nothing.

we don't share one nature other than human nature and you are a part of that also (apparently) so you shouldn't refer to it as "your" elevating yourself to some superhuman position
