Luckily i was able to listen to all the songs without wasting my money to buy the CD. To me, all it is "slower and lower" meaning the songs are slower and Jon's voice is lower. Seems like they took the easy way out with this album. Don't get me wrong, I have been on their side since the 80's, nobody rocks like they do in concert. I just think this is not their best work.
