Jesus, talk about milking a claim to fame! There's a difference between being a session musician than to being ''former band member''! haha. Media press releases make me laugh

Plays some additional guitar parts on some of the LH and DA stuff..

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

He was the pedal steel guitar player at the Prudential shows and the beginning of the LH tour. Dunno how long exactly he was with them though.

Word is that on the LH tour, Kurt got a little too big for his britches and took issue when he was asked to leave the stage for songs that he didn't play on...ha ha, he wanted to be on stage ALL the time. So, that's why he was told, 'buh bye"!!

HAHA oh god. I'm not sure if he was on LH, I'd have to check the booklet. He's all over the boxset though.

On the "Lost Highway: The Concert" version of Any Other Day right before the big solo, Jon shouts "Kurt Johnson on the pedal steel!" That's about all I know about the guy.

Update, he DID play on LH. As for the box set, if I had to venture a guess, "These arms are open all night" and "River Runs Dry". Both feature pedal steel and video footage exists of Kurt recording it for RRD.

EDIT: Well shut my mouth, he played Dobro on D.A. Hm! Learn something new everyday. Didn't know the connection went that far back.

Didn't he also have an issue with the song Livin' On A Prayer? I thought I heard that mentioned a while back.
