Who would you most like to go for a pint with?

I don't remember the details, but I had several pen pals who met him in the 90's in hotels or at airports and he was usually a jerk. I had two pals who met him in a club and he treated them like dirt. I haven't heard many good David stories through the years. He was the type to ignore people, snub them when they tried to get his attention, not sign autographs or pose for pictures. Sorry I don't remember the details, but the older I get the less important stuff like this is to me.

I shared a David story of mine on the first page of this thread:

"I bumped into him the day after the 2nd Dublin show last year at the airport, with my family all dressed in Bon Jovi gear and me holding a Sambora guitar and he literally shooed us away and left. The odd part is we met someone else who was on the FC trip with us and they said hi to David not long after, and he said hello back. He wasn't in a rush or anything either, just standing there."

It's quite interesting reading meet-and-greet stories as you get a completely different impression of someone to one that you had prefabricated in your mind. I always assumed Dave, being a bit of a joker on film, would be one of the more approachable band members - evidently not unless it's just a coincidence that so many people caught him on "off days". Unlikely though. Oh well.

Richie, definitely. I would love to meet him some day the most. I think he’s my fav member of the band. So many things I would love to talk to him about, like music and guitars of course but also his Polish roots and much more...
Although Jon would be a close second place. He inspires me in so many ways too (music, leadership, charity work).
Actually I think there would be lots of great subjects to talk with any of them for hours.

I want to know about the band, past, present and future, and i think he would be the man to ask. I know its a taboo topic, but would love to talk to the guy about his voice and the limitations of it he now faces, what he thinks of some of there songs, where he sees the band in terms of the current music scene etc

If i was to ask the other guys i cant help but think they will have memorised what to say, and there would be the standard answers given we hear in more or less every interview

lol, exactly what I thought, get Dave drunk enough and you may even find out which of the band members have had plastic surgery.....

No, that's Alec. I have a friend who met him along with her friend in 1994 and they had dinner with him and went back go his hotel with him. Buy him a meal and he'll tell you anything.
