Well, currently, for me at least, there is no quality music producing by these teenagers+pop artists. We shouldn't even call them artists rofl. They can't even write their own music (except Taylor Swift and few others, but they only current young artist that i admire for her skills is Taylor) but whatever. Except this "good" voice which people think they got (with 5464749 different sound edits but who cares) they are nothing more. For me bands of 50s/60s/70s/80s will be the best production of music industries. Of course there are some upcoming young bands who try to produce a rock/metal sound but they need to do more to success.
I really like Firewind (who are a latest band 199 and some others too.
But seriously now, who the f**k is bieber, rihanna, gaga etc.
Madonna? Sucks hard for me dudes.

That's because everyone thinks that Bon Jovi are big hair and spandex. They've no idea of the depth of the Bon Jovi catalogue and that's what pisses me off.

I'm 19 years old. When I tell my friends that Bon Jovi are my favourite band which image do you think I'd rather came into their heads?

Without doubt, the poodle hair photo. They were so much cooler back then, dude....
And Skid Row and Cinderella rule. As does Lemmy. Anyone who disagrees is incorrect.

Word.

Van Halen and Guns N' Roses had big hair and spandex too. How did they get good reviews from Rolling Stone and join the Hall of Fame? It's all about the music, dude.

Musically Bon Jovi is not in the same league as the Stones and Zep, don't be surprised with the reaction of your friends.

Spot on! No idea why Cinderella is bashed here all the time. They are a fantastic band. So tight and absolutely unique. Tom Kiefer's voice is mind blowing. But each to his own I guess.

Funny how this conversation turned around. Anyhow, I don't really mind Jovi jamming with anyone, even with Lady Gaga or Rihanna. I just wish it'd be more people who push them to perform better, like they did in the 80s. The Aerosmith guys would kick their ass, the Scorpions too, but they were never afraid to step up and give it a shot.

Now they mostly have guys on stage that can't sing. One exception is maybe Daughtry who can actually sing, but then, that's about it.
The one artist that I remember playing with them recently in a proper concert is Ray Davies (I don't mean private parties and so on).

At least Richie actually jammed with some people who make him up his game a little. He was a special guest at a Ted Nugent show in 2006, those biker bashes with Steven Tyler, BB King. Then again, he played with Usher on MTV. Ahh well.

So judging from this you think Van Halen and Guns N' Roses music is better than Bon Jovi?

Here is Sambora with David Coverdale and Cheap Trick.
Same show, Jon jams with Vivian Campbell :P. So it's sort of Jovi and Whitesnake.

I don't think Jon would have had the guts to go on stage with David Coverdale. No one would. Joe Elliott said at some point that after he saw Coverdale in the studio he wanted to cry for a week :P
