hi again!

the result so far shows, that we as the fans are not 'undivided' about the question! maybe a hint that the new single should have been 'undivided' which is also my personal opinion! it's almost 50:50! just go on voting, it's very interesting to read your opinions!

tryin' not to be a fan (so hard indeed), i think general public will like this song. it's a very simple song, with a catchy chorus, so it could be - if not a hit - maybe in the top 10 for a while. at least, a lot of people only know bj ballads.

by the way, talking as a bj follower (i never liked the term 'fan') i don't think it's a good choice. i do like the song, but it's a little weak. the 1st times i listened to it i can't stop singing it... but then, it gets poor: in the conception, in the lyrics, in they way it's played. it's a song that, after a period of time, it gets empty. in other bj songs, after years passed by, you keep discoverin' new things and feelings.

none of the ballads in bounce fits what i think a bj ballad must be. like someone said in a post, since 'these days' the guys have lost their style in doing ballads. most of the ballads in bounce sounds to me like mr bolton (i respect his work, but i don't like his style).

and due to the fact that bounce is not as good in the charts as it should, if i was the record company, i will bet all for 'undivided'. it's a heavy song, but will nobody will be indifferent to it, so there's nothing to lose!!!

Are you retarded or something. WTF is 'This is Bon Jovi we are talking about!!!' supposed to mean? When did they last have a major hit? Oh wait, three years ago.

And, you know what they say relating simple things and simple people...

In Sydney both the first 2 singles were played on both of the major FM radio stations, 2DAY FM (which plays more top 40) and 2MMM (which plays more rock). I don't think 2MMM will pick up AALY, which will straight away halve it's airtime. I think it may struggle to chart higher than say the top 30 downunder IMHO.

I think it all depends on what else is released that week. I think that it could get a top 10 place in the UK charts, so long as there are no other big releases in the same week.

If the song gets enough airplay, and the video is shown a lot on MTV and the other many many music channels (on Sky Digital TV we have a couple dozen channels), it could potentially do very well.

well, in my opinion this is the worst (no kidding here) single the band has ever released in 20 years! It has nothing of what a rock ballad should be about. No lyrics that go to your mind and to your heart, very limited guitaring (no solo of course), a taste of already been there seen that.
If these are the ballads a rock band is supposed to make, then just drop them altogether right away!
Krb is 100% right of course

PS Seen with Italian eyes, the TYFLM vdeo is very cheesy and stereotypical i.e.= crap. just telling it like it is, I know some are going to jump at me saying I hate the band etc etc
