Why are Bon Jovi fans greedy?

There's a van halen board that does this kind of bootleg circulation. It has all the rules specified explicitly. Let me find it so maybe you guys can gather some tips from there. From what I understand, that has worked well with those VH fans. I assume it would be a good model.

Sure you can.

I don't think anyone should start trading until we have been able to put together a formal list of rules for the participants. We need to creat a hierarchy (of some sort) so people will always mail shows to the same people and we need to have one or 2 people incharge of maintaining a member list. The member list can be changed as 'bad traders' are discovered and more people join. I think that if everyone mails shows to 2 people we can build an effective system.


We need to discuss what rules need to be created, either via MSN or via phone. I'd gladly help develop the guidelines....Becky, I think you'd probably be good to have on board for this --especially since it's your brainchild, but ulitmately there should only be 2 or 3 people developing this. Becky, feel free to contact me if you'd like my input.

I'd appreciate it if people did not jump the gun on this project and gave it a chance to get properly organized--it will have a better chance of succeeding if it's given this chance.

I'm glad to see there's some interest. In my mind, I think it would effective if someone had something they wanted to offer, to just post what it is and those who are interested can join in that specific trade. Some things will have small interest and might only need for a person to send it out to one other person instead of three.

And, of course, we have to get Peter to okay the idea of creating a separate forum. If he's not fond of the idea, there's a practically dead message board on my website we could use.

QUESTION: Does anyone else who's interested in this idea have a multisystem converting VCR? If so, would you be willing to be a go-between for videos? I have that kind of VCR and am definitely willing to convert stuff so it can be traded in different formats, but if this takes off, we might need more than one person to do it.
