I disagree.

It's quite similar over here in the ol' US of A, especially in the highschool environment. It's like saying something like, "That's sweet as hell". By all means, hell is probably a most disagreeable place and "sweet" is not an adjective I'd choose to describe it. However, you get the message that the sweet thing is question is pretty cool. The same applies to the "gay" insult. "Gay" nowadays is equivilant to "stupid, dumb, idiotic" and so on. Nowadays, when referring to true gays, people tend to use much more explicit terms. So in a sense, the entire word "gay" has sorta lost its meaning.

And don't worry, if they choose to listen to their dance rubbish, they're just missing out on true musical genius. Just keep faith in knowing that you have discovered good music.

Just remembered something funny.

If any of you have watched the deleted scenes from the Back To The Future DVDs you will recognise this, porbably.

In a deleted scene, Marty is telling the Doc how he is nervous about having to "hit on" his mother. He says something like "Doc, this is the type of thing that could permenantly screw me up. What if I go back to the future and I end up gay". The doc replies "Why wouldn't you be happy?"

because bon jovi are a commercial band and their image is made in a way so they can attract girls... and they do.... also jon's pretty face, their ballads, their 'good guys' attitude are factors that we can't leave out.
but whoever says that knows sh*t about bon jovi's music....

This pisses me off bigtime. The only thing they are saying is: If you are going to see that amount of shows you are gay and you are going to see everything over and over again. It's a waste of money.

This makes me angry (I'm not gay... no offence to people who are though). I'm really looking forward to the European tour. I even cancelled my vacation to Hungary for it
Me too. ´They speak but they haven´t heard an album of Bon Jovi. As we said in Spain: NO TIENEN NI PUTA IDEA

They use the term "that's gay" in the same way they use the term "that's bad" because they think being gay is bad. The term is actually very pollitically incorrect.

Political Correctness is for people that are afraid to have their own views and thoughts and are most certainly afraid to speak them out loud.

For instance me saying "The Last Time France Wanted More Proof, It Marched Into Paris With a Nazi Flag" is politically incorrect

oh dear

Bon Jovi has always had the undeserved reputation of being pretty boys and that all. Even though they have proven their talent a million times over, too many people still think they only made it because of their looks. So if you like Bon Jovi, it can only be for their looks and if you're a guy, then that means you must be gay. It's a very stupid, close-minded way of thinking that way too many people have held on to. Don't let them bother you, it's their loss.

WOW how stupid can people get!!! These guys are not your friends if they label you "gay" on stereotype about music.

We all know they are some people into BJ for their look, these kind of "fan" are what non-BJ-educated people think is the fan base of BJ. We all know these people are not real "fan" if they like BJ only for their look.

this should be our motto: "Don't be affected by what non-Bj-educated people think or say and don't be affected by "I-like-Jon's-ass-fan think or say...and life will be beautiful!"
