StoneDeaf,
I have that Rio version of Madagascar by GNR. I think that it is an amazing song. Although GNR will always be with Slash, Duff and the rest of the boys. I wonder if Chinese Democracy will ever come out?

So, just because you, mr-216-posts, haven't seen the basis of our opinions, we should always make sure to include them in any and all replies we make? Sorry, not gonna happen. If you come late, you're gonna miss all the fun.

Gimme a break, I've been around even longer than you and StoneDeaf.
First registered on July 29th 2002 with my previous nick. Looked it up,
just for you. Isn't that just nice?

Oh and btw, judging people by the number of their posts or the length
of their mempership is really 1998.

And for the rest: is it so hard to give your criticism in a well phrased way
instead of just bashing everything. Well, ok, maybe that's just a little too
much to ask for

Nope, that's wrong to assume, i've been reading this board since it started (on and off i'll give you that), had a nick till layout changed (think we had to get new ones, not sure) but continue to read it. Probably a lot of people just reading it & enjoying it

Bon JOvi hasn't rocked in recent years because they are complacent and happy, great emotional records come from troubled times
back to back to back to back failures musically have finally given us a great album by a band driven to succeed.
Have a Nice Fckin Day

I hear you and I too have higher hopes with this upcoming album after listening to the snippets. The last album I really enjoyed was JBJ's Destination Anywhere. There was some angst going on while writing that one which made for some passionate musical expression. Well, except for Ugly, that song just sucked.

Ahhh...it's good to be back...I think. Good to see nothing has changed in the months I've been away from these boards. Hello again to everyone. I'll admit I didn't read through all 8 pages of this thread so forgive me if I repeat something that has already been said.

Who cares if it's rock or not anyways? You spend enough time taking the piss out of certain people on this board who try to live rock n roll. Seriously though, Alice Cooper plays golf, you'd rip Jon to shreds for that, the Scorpions were a joke in the 80's, they're just an old joke now. add to the fact you're moaning at the bands new material. What exactly have Mr Cooper and the Scorpions contributed to music in the past 15 years?

Paul Simon isn't rock, Mozart wasn't rock, James Brown isn't rock. Doesn't mean they can't be good artists.

It's all very juvenile and high school: who the **** cares when it gets down to it? you apparently.

Jim makes some very good points, don't you think?

I would never attempt to put Bon Jovi in the same category as Alice Cooper or the Scorpions as much as I would never group them together with Jewel or Willie Nelson. Yet you, Seb, will look for any reason to cut down this band. You are here on these boards, I've yet to understand why, but I'm sure you have your reasons. That's all fine and good. What I don't understand is why you insist on on trying to push your opinions on others all the time. Fine, we understand you don't care for the material the band is putting out now. We understand you think they have turned into crap. It's same thing you have said a million times over, just worded differently. I haven't been here in a very long time, and you were saying the same crap then. I can honestly say that I don't recall ever reading a post from you that says something complimentary about the band. I mean really, give us a break aleady. Your self-righteous rants are getting a little old and a little too predictable. But wait! Isn't that one of your complaints about Bon Jovi? That they are becoming too predictable? Hmm... how ironic.... Maybe it's YOU who should come up with some new material.

Although I do agree with you on some of the points you made in your original post (no, I'm not a blind follower), I just can't get past my belief that you really just wanted to bash the band again even though you say that's not the case. Forgive me if I don't believe you. There are other ways of making the points you made without being such an di** about it. You know, I find it amusing that you seem to spend an awful lot of time thinking about and analyzing a band you deem "crap".

And before you say, "if you don't like what I say, don't read the post" - that's not the issue. The issue is my being sick and tired of always being able to count on you to be a negative, miserable little troll. But don't worry, you're not the only one. There's a small village of trolls here at Dry County.

And some of you are being a bit hard on Clarity, don't you think? What's wrong? Frustrated you couldn't come up with anything more original than "f*** you"? Is that even considered an insult anymore??

KTF!

What's the point of posting anything when you realize it might've been said before? You're now getting into things that have been discussed, refuted and so on. Saying that Jim makes good points while I've already gone against it and explained what I meant with it isn't the smartest thing to do.

As soon as there's something positive to say about this band I'll say it. If you're tired of reading my complaints, you should realize that it's how a lot of fans have started to feel about Bon Jovi.

That's what a fan does eh? I could complain forever without thinking of a solution, or I could post my thoughts of how this band could get back on track again. Tell me what's more constructive.

I've never worried about that. But considering that you find people trolls as soon as they're negative about this band, you're at the wrong board. If you think a fan, and yes, believe it or not, but those so called trolls are fans you don't see at backstage as they're deleted because they don't fit the profile of shiny happy people, is not allowed to be negative about everything this band does lately, you're just at the wrong board.

If you would've taken the time to read the entire topic you would've understand it.

Salaam Aleikum,

So that gives you or anyone else free license to be an ass about it? You can express your dislike for the band in a mature fashion without being so condescending.

oh, right! I forgot! Jon and the boys are waiting with baited breath for your solutions to their problems. How silly of me! Keep in mind that for those of you that think Bon Jovi is in serious need of repair, there are at least an equal amount of people who don't think they've strayed too far off track. It's not fair to constantly try to badger us into seeing things your way.

I don't consider someone a troll just because they are negative about Bon Jovi, I consider someone a troll who is negative in general all the time, 24/7.

Thanks for the quick geography lesson, but I've never posted at Backstage and I have no desire to. As I said, I'm not a blind follower. I don't think this band can do no wrong. I know they have made their mistakes - plenty of them. (Can anyone say "She's a Mystery"?)

You need to lighten up a little. All this negativity is going to give you a heart attack at an early age, darling.
