ehmm WHITESNAKE is a LEGENDARY ROCK BAND , of course they are great!!!!!!!no glam no pop metal they just rock hard!
This is Whitesnake in 1987 for the sole purpose of marketing to shallow image fixated Americans who were clueless the band was already big in Europe, along with a change in sound to match the trend at the time.

This is the real Whitesnake, a classic blues rock and roll band with soul that had been around since the late 1970s.

They should never be mentioned in the same sentence as Warrant.

One more time....

This is Whitesnake's David Coverdale pimping himself out for success in the United States, make up and mousse abused...a clown crying in the rain.

The real David Coverdale.....soul on fire.

[quote="Javier"]Now I know why BJ always avoid being on 80's compilation albums, and refuse to be pigeonholed in that genre even though they were arguably the biggest and most notable act of the "hair band" scene in the 80's.

But you have to remember if they would not be associated with Iron Maiden, Whitesnake, The Scorpions or any band that can still bring the goods.
They would be associated with acts such as

Warrant:
and Motley Crue:

the answer it's damn easy: those bands are all dead or faded away... jovi r still standing
