Christine is absolutely correct! It has nothing to do with the people or the fans or touring or previous sales or anything about "rewarding" one area or another. It's about BUSINESS and the music business operates by putting extra tracks on CDs in different markets to keep cheaper US imports from flooding the market and taking the profit from the local companies.

If you overthink it, you make it more complicated than it is. It amounts to one thing: money. Who's getting it?

We get a DVD, We get a DVD, We get a DVD....

(sung like Wayne and Garth singing "We've got $5000" on Waynes World, lolal)

I hope it's a 5.1 copy of the album, with parts of/all of the Yokohama show in 5.1, lolal

But you don't HAVE to. You may choose to do so, but it's not manadatory.

Thank you so much for bringing this up! I probably would've just forked over the cash to get the Japanese version, but I never would've thought of checking the region on the DVD.

Ebay.......yokohama......brilliant idea!

Because of the DVD, someone asked at HMV Japan and they said it would be regionalise.

But you can change nearly every DVD-player into region-free. Search the net with the brand of your DVD-player and you should find an instruction how to do it. Usually it is a combination on your remote control. Or ask where you have bought the player, they usually also have the instructions. They just aren't allowed to sell the player region-free from the beginning and to print the instruction how to make it region-free in the manual or advertise with region free.

I wonder what sort of stuff will be on the DVD though. Hopefully it will be some good stuff...maybe even a DVD copy of the album tracks or something.
