These two go hand in hand. They're too commercial becuase they do try to apeal to a pop/charts crowd to much. I've said numerous times that they should concentrate on songs that the fans want, not just songs that will work as singles.

That's how you've read it, I've been on here quite a while now, and I've never heard anybody call Jon a tyrant. Fact: It's his band, the rest of the band are employed by Jon, it's HIS band. This always worked when Jon was one of the best vocalists and sonwritters in the world, now he's not, it just doesn't feel right. If Jon's off form, the band are off form, and imo Jon's off form way too much these days.

rubish. Ok, not everybody would have him in their top 5 guitarests, but that doesn't mean he isn't respected. He's a great gutiarest.

Again, absolute rubish. The topics in recent weeks have been much more to do with Tico being the real driving fource in the band, and just how great he is.... Taken that Tico Jon and Richie are the talented area, that leaves only David, who does nothing and is really dead wood, and Hugh, who isn't even really a full member.

How can everbody be discussing Jon being the only talent, when they also consider Richie to be the only talen? I suggest you look up the meaning of ONLY

Well they are. It's an good area for discussion.

? They do reasonably longish shows. I don't think I've seen bands I really like and woudln't have liked the show to be a little longer. Even after seeing Yes do a 3 hour show, I wanted at least another hour!

Well they don't. But, they were still writting rock songs on These Days. The point is, they've turned their back on this completely, which is what pisses off the rock fans! How can you be a rock band if you don't have rock songs!

Absolutely, read topics on things like Livin In Sin, I'll Be There For You e.t.c Again, I think somehing like Homebound Train is one of the best rock songs ever.... The thing is though, there are things I don't like about the band now, and I'm going to discuss them. I find it interesting knowing what other fans do and don't like. It would be so boring if everythign was possitive, there would be no debate! I'd also say in terms of doing things right, these have been few and far between since Crush, so yes I do think there is more bad then good at the moment. That's not to say I don't like the band, I just don't think they're anywhere near living up to their potensial, or the levels they were at in the 80's....

And discussing what the band is doing (or not doing) to make you unhappy with them is one thing, but all too often I see so-called fans being very vocal about how the band "sucks" or how they should retire, etc, etc...And that's all I read - the same people over and over, and they never saying anything positive. Those are the things that bother me. I never said you couldn't ever complain about them.
