That the band had a 'slump' in the 90's?? WTF?!?!? Ok, they were NEVER going to again make it to the dizzying heights of SWW and NJ, as that type of music had faded out, along with a whole heap of bands that caught its wave.

Bon Jovi didn't slump.....things just leveled out a bit. I mean, how can a 'slump' include songs like Bed Of Roses, Keep The Faith and Always? These songs are legendary in BJ circles and even commercially they were quite successful. Just because These Days wasn't all that commercially successful is probably what they point at, but you can't ignore the tour that followed.

IMO, the 90's is the best Bon Jovi era of them all.

How can the 90's be a slump when they sold twice as many CDs in the 90's as they did in the 80's????

I think the 90's was the best period for Bon Jovi. I Think the media say it was a bad time for them because that sort of music wasn't the most popular in the 90's. It was a time for grunge, and brit pop.

Maybe most journalists are poor at math or maths as some of you with a speech impediment insist on saying.
