That still doesn't reverse any damage. Just like any other damaged muscle, it eventually catches up with you with age.

Working with a vocal coach to get through a tour and working with a vocal coach for long term longevity are two different thing. I'm sure her advice wasn't to go out and whale scream through a minute of I'll Be There For You, even though that might have been the greatest thing my ears have ever heard...

For those who are not familiar with the above... From 6:40 to 7:20

Axl Rose and Steven Tyler have always screamed their asses off yet they still have far greater range than Jon does now.

Yes that's true, but isn't it glaringly obvious that not everyone has the SAME vocal chords, therefore each set responds differently to strain, smoking, surgery etc.?
