I post on both hetre and backstage and i do like this board better as the posts seem 2 be more interesting and important but some people think if ur gonna say the guys are hot u have 2 post on backstage which is just stupid, i and others should be allowed 2 say w/e we want about the guys looks, they are good looking guys and im not going 2 pretend there not , also on one other post i said that jons looks HELP the band be a sucsess and some of u got really pissy and offended i wosnt saying that that is why they sell record cos i kow its cos they are a great band and have great songs but seeing a good looking guy up front HELPS and anyone who say otherwise are lying 2 themselfs, phew..

I just don't get the big deal about a female fan admitting that part of what she likes about the band is the way they look. Well duh! That is like saying I like the sky sometimes when it is sunny. It is just a fact of life for a female fan- it does not mean that it takes away from appreciating the music. If they did not make music that had meaning to me and put on entertaining shows their look would not mean a thing but it sure is icing on the cake. I know male fans are not going to see it that way though.

Instead of feeling like you have to censor yourself, why don't you just talk about whatever you want because the same people who you think are ridiculing you are not going to censor themselves for the sake of your feelings.

Ok to few of u who clearly put the looks ahead of music, u suck. Music related board/community is wrong place for u, try some fashion website instead u might far more likeminded people there.

What comes to Jovi's appearance, well, image is just like them cheesy ballads, meant to sneak into teen girls daydreams. Thank god they have improved a bit since the 80's, but I still think they make themselves look like some damn N'sync or sumthin in photoshoots. If u like that, it is ok, but the ones who's main interest with Jovi seems to be drooling over jon's pic on their desktop should keep their holes shut about music.

From the day I joined this board, I did have impression that this is MUSIC related board, not some fashion & looks related....what I did find really cool was that people actually were allowed to post even negative things without getting run over by some backstage bullies. That brings me to backstage.....uh, well if u ask me (I know u didn't/don't) whole backstage things is something unbelievable. Few ppl act like they know it all, and 99% of the rest keep on kissing their a**s. And oh yeah, they all think Jovi makes no mistakes and that everything about Jovi is cool. What a bunch of morons. If u feel like u are one of them, since some do post about being proud backstagers and all, I guess u do need to notice that in JT even negativity goes. I guess I'm a good example on that, I post lots of negative things, and still haven't gotten banned. A**kissing might earn u ppl few likeminded friends, but in the end all u got left is dirty tongue. One thing that I have noticed, being on the negative side....there's few other posters who seem to find lots of negative things too....but, it's not that often that all them ppl with negative feeling team up to bash u who drool after Jon's a**. When someone posts something negative, u shiny happy people instantly team up agains whoever posted, and keep slamming "high fives" among your little happy group since u managed post back something that all u ppl agree on, no matter if it is just "BUT Jon rocks"

I guess I can't say this too many times, but, even though part of their music is cheesy and annoying teen-pop, I still say that it is the music that matters. For me Rock'N'Roll is larger than life experience, it's not just music it's a way of life and state of mind. People who run after trends and choose their idols based on looks just simply make me sick.

People saying that some artist is cool cos he/she looks so good, well I value that opinion just as much as I would hearing a deaf person saying that Jon has great voice. MORONS!

Thats a backstage debate in a nutshell - sorry.... but it is. Can't remember how many times it was me Vs 5 or 10 other ppl. There r a few ppl who seem like clones of each other & actually write exactly the same - I get confused who I am replying to.

This isn't a DC Vs backstage thing, it is genuinely like that.
