Default Why is Jon not playing harmonicas anymore?

On record or live or anywhere? When was that last time he's done? And any idea why he's given up? Sorry if this was discussed before.

Where else has he played harmonica besides These Days and Born To Be My Baby live performances from NJ tour?

I believe he was asked this question during some Q&A event and he replied that he has forgotten how to play it.

He answered this a few years back in response to some fan question, it's somewhere on youtube.

He said something to the effect that he stopped practicing it and lost his touch and so is not comfortable with it live anymore.

No good reason apart from that... If he was motivated to play it we would see it.

I think I remember reading or hearing him say that he though he was terrible at playing the harmonica so gave it up.

that's a pity. Was listening to These Days recently and thought it sounded absolutely great - on record and live. Lazy bastard! :P

Yet he keeps taking solos away from Richie, His reasoning baffles me

The Harmonica is the easiest instrument in the world to play. I was given one as a gift and was getting a tune out of it within no time. It's a shame, I thought it added a bit of musicality to performances.

Can they not just give Bobby a Harmonica instead of a guitar?
