The decision because of the release dates of the albums is the record companie's decision, not Jon's.

But Japan was the first country where BJ were successfull, even before the SWW-album. That's why Japan is special for the guys.

The reason why many bands release albums first in Japan, before any other country is because Japanese shops can import albums from the US and sell them for much cheaper than the Japanese version of the album.

I know that they have said that Japan is special because that is where their record first went platinum. They also said that when they went to Japan, they were treated as if they were as big as the Beatles. Still, that's not enough of a reason why they give Japan all the good singles, bonus tracks, etc. I dunno. Maybe they like sushi?

One of my friend on Job is from Japan. She says that Bon Jovi became famus in Japan after albums like 7800 and Bon Jovi. She is not a Bon Jovi fan but she still remember all the songs from 7800 cause all those songs were huge in Japan. But in USA and UK nobody cares about those first two albums. even Keep the faith etc album did great in Japan.

Well, couldn't it well be beacuse of the fact that more than half of their sales are due to the Japanese market? I find it reasonable that they play 8 concerts there where Bounce has sold 3 (out of 5 it has worldwide) million copies.

Why can't bounce have sold 5 million copies world wide? I mean, it's quite simpel, before "bounce" was out on the market Bon Jovi had sold 93 millions. Today the record company say that they have sold some where between 97 and 98 millions!
