Singles are the decision of the record company, not the band. And the Japanese get bonus-tracks because CDs are way more expensive than in the USA and they want to prevent that the people import the cheaper US-issues of the albums instead of buying the ones from Japan. Bon Jovi is not the only band that does this.

Yes, I understand that but, I don't think their other albums are selling million copies these days!
perhaps they do that, but I think thats is a bit strange cus if their latest album not is doing well who are going to buy their old albums? I mean all the older fans has the albums and if their is no new fans the old albums shouldn't sell! Am I wrong? perhaps...

I don't know.

If I bought an album and liked it, the first thing I do next is buy more records by that artist. Particularly Greatest Hits, a record that made that artist famous, and maybe more.

According to Billboard Charts Bon Jovi older albums chart in Pop catalogue category now.

cool! i didn't know that... but millions isn't that rather much? A new album I can understand but not for exampel keep the faith, it's a bit too old for that I think...
